Who I Am:

I’m Aziel, the guy behind refined brothers who got tired of wasting money on skincare that didn’t work. I’m not a dermatologist. I’m not a beauty influencer. I’m not trying to sell you a course or a product line. I’m a Black man who figured out what actually works through trial, error, and a lot of research. Now I’m sharing it so you don’t have to waste three years like I did. If you’ve been struggling with the same issues I had—or you just want to level up your grooming game—start with one routine. What We Do.

Refined Brothers is a routine library built specifically for Black men. Every routine on this site addresses the real challenges we face—hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, razor bumps, beard care, and maintaining healthy skin without breaking the bank.

We don’t write long articles to game SEO. We don’t recommend products we haven’t tested. We don’t pretend one routine works for everyone.

Instead, we give you:

Why This Exists.

The skincare industry talks to everyone except us. Or when they do, it’s an afterthought—a “diverse” model in an ad, but the same generic advice that doesn’t work for Black skin.

We were tired of:

So we started testing products, documenting what worked, and building routines that actually solve the problems Black men face. No theory. No guessing. Just routines we’ve used ourselves and on friends who look like us.
